HOW TO ADD GOOGLE TAG MANAGER, GOOGLE ANALYTICS & FACEBOOK PIXEL ON GROOVEPAGES (TUTORIAL)

How to add a Google Tag Manager, GoogleAnalytics and your Facebook pixel on GroovePages? What’s up people? It’s Aimee now. Now before you drive any traffic to your arrive page or yourwebsite, you should be putting in place your Google Analytics tracking, yourFacebook Pixel or any Ad tracking codes inside of your GroovePages website. And this applies to any website not justGroovePages. The naked minimum should be GoogleAnalytics so that you can actually ascertain who is visiting your website. And I’mgoing to show you how to install it via Google Tag Manager. Let’s get started.Okay chaps, there’s five steps in this process: one is creating a Google Tag Manager receptacle; the second is creating a Google Analytics account; third is creating a Google Analytics tag inside of Google Tag Manager; then we’regonna include Google Tag Manager receptacle inside ofGroovePages or your GroovePages website; and thenwe’re going to test Google Tag Manager and the GoogleAnalytics tag you precisely developed is fuelling on yourwebsite.Now this might seem like a great deal but justbear with me because I’ll foot you through step by step on where to click.If you’re new to Google Tag Manager simply Google- Google Tag Manager and click onthe first option. You will then arrive to this website soyou will need a Gmail account or a Google detail in order to create aGoogle Tag Manager account. So once you’ve got your Gmail accountjust click on sign in to Tag Manager. Now my recommendation is creating aGoogle Tag Manager history per website. So let’s goand click on create account. In account setup, underaccount epithet, you want to enter in the name of your website now thenselect the two countries you’re are contained in by clicking now. I’ll adopt Australia.I’m not going to share my data with Google. And then I’m going to have theContainer Setup. So Container name, I’m going toenter in: wwwyourdomain.com and for this onewe’ll hand-picked “Web”. And then sounds create. Now, you’ve just got to scroll down.Click on “I agree data processing terms” and then click on “yes”.Then it’s going togive you the Google Tag Manager container system right here that you needto paste the system high in the pate as well as after theopening person call right here. So there’s two codes that you need to install.I’m gonna leave this open because we’re gonna go and create our Google Analyticsaccount. And if you’ve never made a GoogleAnalytics account before just Google that and it would be the first linkthat you click on.Once you click on that, you will arrive to Google Analytics andwhat we want to do is go to “Admin”, under detail now, we’re going to click on “Create an account” and then I’m justgoing to enter in a test domain. You enter in your domainhere. You can choose to have sharing data withGoogle.I’m just going to leave that ticking fornow. And then click on Next. And then we’re going to leave it atWeb. Click on next. Now, you’ll want to give this yourwebsite name and then enter in your website URL here.Select an industry, so I’ll click on businessreporting time zone because I’m in Australia.I want that set to Australia and in Perth.So select which country and time zone that you’rein so that you can get the reporting data back in Google Analytics becauseyou don’t want to mismatch different time areas. Click on createthen I’ll change this to Australia. Just scroll through and readthe terms and conditions. I gave data processing terms and whatdata you want to share with Google. You will need to accept thatin order to use Google Analytics. Click “I accept” then it’s going to giveyou your Google Analytics tracking ID. And thisis the ID that we want to grab.Now leave this screenopen. What we want to do is just imitation the foreman system andpaste it in a notepad for safekeeping. Then go to the body tag. Let’s transcript thatand then paste it into a notepad. Now we’re going to clickon “OK”. So what we want to do is start our Google Analyticstag inside of Google Tag Manager that means that when you’re pasting yourGoogle Tag Manager container inside of GroovePages which is righthere. You’re going to manage Google Analytics, your Facebook tags in one central spot and that is GoogleTag Manager. So we’re going to go over here and click on”Tags”. And then click on “new tag”. We’re going to give it a appoint so I’lljust scold this GA( Google Analytics) and this is my tracking ID and it’ll be on all pages.And what this intends it’s just a call assembly. You want to giveit GA, this is your tracking ID and that IDwill be installed on all sheets on your GroovePages website.Okay.So once you’ve given it a figure under label configuration, click on it and then you can choose what type of tag you require. So we’re going toclick on “Google Analytics: universal Analytics”. Click on that oneand then we’re going to track on page judgment. This means that it’s trackingany calls on your GroovePages website or your funnel.Under Google Analytics positions, we’re going to click on this. Click”New variable” and it’s set at Google Analytics soyou want to enter in your exactly put your tracking ID now. Click onthis then and put your tracking ID here again.And then click on “Save”. Now you’re going to go totriggering. So you click on that and then click “All pages”. And then presssave. So let’s recap. We’ve already originated a Google Tag Manager container.We’ve created a Google Analytics report and we’ve got the tracking ID. We createdour Google Analytics Tag inside of Google Tag Manager. And now, we’re going to add that Google Tag Manager codeinside of GroovePages.Because now your Google Tag Manager is impounding yourGoogle Analytics Tag so you’re going to log into GrooveFunnels and go to GroovePages. Select the website that you want GoogleTag Manager to be installed in. Head to this hamburger icon. Click onsite lays. Under “Code includes”, we want to paste in the first code brought forward by Google Tag Manager. So here itis, we’re just going to copy that, paste it in here.And the second code, photocopy that paste it in the body section. You want toclick on this check icon. Press save and thenpress publish. We’re going to principal back to Google Tag Manager and then click onpreview. This orange notify will come up and it’s basicallyallowing you to test that your Google Tag Manager is installedonto your GroovePages website. Then you want to go to the domain that youpublish the Google Tag Manager system on. So I’ll enter in my discipline. And becauseI’ve got Google Tag Manager lay onto this domain.This preview mode will pop up and you can see here that the tags has firedand Google Tag Manager is installed correctlyon your land. And if you honcho back into your GroovePages website, click on thishamburger icon. Click on site establishes. In a previoustutorial I demo you how to install the Facebook Pixel on GroovePages and ifwe go down to “Code includes”, merely scroll down this Facebookpixel can also be transferred into Google Tagmanager.And you can do that by clicking on “new”. Let’s appoint thisFacebook Pixel and then all sheets. Click on “Tagconfiguration”. In the search icon, type “custom” and thenyou want to select “Custom HTML”. Head back into GroovePages and then copyyour Facebook pixel. Go back to Google Tag Manager. In theHTML section, You want to adhesive your code there. And then under “triggering”, we want it to trigger on all pages.Click on save. Now you’re coping your Google Analyticsas well as your Facebook Pixel via Google Tag Manager. So I’m going to clickon submit, publish and label this FacebookPixel tag. Click on continue. Let’s go back to workspace.Now you want to go back into your Groove Pages, delete the existingFacebook Pixel because everything is managed via Google Tag Manager.Click on this check icon.Press “Save”. Then press publish. You want to wait atleast five minutes for it to be updated on your website.Head back to Google Tag Manager. Click on “Leave Preview Mode” and then press “OK”. That’s it chaps. You now have your Facebook Pixel as well as yourGoogle Analytics on your Google Tag Manager. So that meant that if you haveany Facebook Pixels, any conversion labels, any ad moving codes, you can manage itall in Google Tag Manager and just have one code which is GoogleTag Manager inside of your GroovePages website oryour pour.
